The power of data is the first 3d virtual building, with real data from social networks. Thanks to artificial intelligence, more than 35 thousand images, about 100 thousand comments and around 1 million “likes” were stored and analyzed.
This project starts from the investigation about the invisibility of data and the role that social networks play every day in society, observing an increase on its importance in daily life.
The project was born from the idea that due to the excessive use of social networks, the human being now has two "self": the real self and the virtual self. The human is situated as a mental, emotional, social, spiritual and mental being.
Then, the project sets itself the task of making the data visible, converting it through computational algorithms into three-dimensional geometries. The result is a virtual building with several immersive experiences, having a 360 experience for smartphones, a video game-like experience for computers and a virtual reality experience with the htc vive or oculus rift viewers.
To create this project, we used artificial intelligence (Stylegan, Cyclegan, VQGAN + CLIP and RESNET50), computational design and virtual reality design (creating our own rules). The detailed explanation is on its own website.
