ANYWHERE IN THE FUTURE
‘The Green Theatre’ is a housing typology that adapts to the changing ‘acts’ of an overarching ‘play’. It’s a building that contains three main ‘stages’ and three different adaptable housing unit types.
We are replacing a park at the top of our building block, which is detached from the ground floor based on distancing, but offering a sheltered public and semi-public space where interaction does happen both, horizontally and vertically, subtly restricted to the limits of revolving green ‘curtains’.
We are promoting safe social interaction, enhance a sense of community, co-living. We believe in diversity of inhabitants and the input of what family means.
Theatre is the presence of audience and performers at the same time sharing the same space. Sharing sensations mostly unexpected making life in many ways richer, provoking our brain and heart, erasing limits between architecture, poetry and art.
